03-06-2010

As more than 70 million visitors descend on Shanghai from May to October for the 2010 World Expo, Honeywell technologies will help make the USA National Pavilion safer, more secure, and energy efficient. Honeywell’s sponsorship at the pavilion includes products and solutions, such as advanced building automation and digital public address systems, that support the “Better City, Better Life” theme of the World Expo. The event aims to promote the exchange of ideas and development of the world economy, culture, science, and technology, and allow exhibitors to publicize and display their achievements while improving international relationships.

“Honeywell’s technology portfolio matches the Expo’s theme well,” said Shane Tedjarati, President and CEO of Honeywell China and India. “Honeywell is a global leader in energy efficiency, environmental protection, and safety and security. We are excited to demonstrate to China and the 70 million visitors expected to attend the Expo in Shanghai that Honeywell technologies are helping to build a better world.”

Honeywell has also jointly launched an online gift store with the USA National Pavilion.
